K1000 GO enhancements
K1000 GO is the app that connects you to the K1000 from smart phones and tablets. Recent enhancements
include:
• Access for non-administrators: Users who are not administrators can now log Service Desk tickets,
view ticket status, and read Knowledge Base articles. The app detects user permission levels and
adjusts the UI accordingly.
• Service Desk enhancements: You can now add photos to Service Desk tickets and edit additional
ticket fields.
• Bug fixes and UI improvements: The app is continually being updated to fix issues and improve the
user experience.
You can download K1000 GO from the Apple App Store for iOS devices, or from the Google Play Store for
Android devices.
Terminology changes
Text in the UI has been updated to improve consistency and to use industry-standard terms. For example,
the term device is now used to refer to machines, nodes, and computers in inventory. The following table
shows terminology changes in this release.
Application Control is available only for Windows and Mac devices that have
Agent version 6.0 software installed. Application Control is not available for
Linux or Agentless devices.
