Dell KACE K1000 Systems Management Appliance, Version 6.0, Release Notes 22
For Mac and Linux devices, AMPTools is located under the Agent bin folder. For Windows devices AMPTools
is located in %ProgramFiles%\Dell\KACE
There is a condition under which amp.conf can be blanked out or emptied. If
that happens, the Agent’s settings are lost, and it falls back to connect to
KBOX. If an attacker poses as KBOX on the network, the Agent becomes open
to attack even if it was originally configure with verifyssl. Dell KACE is
investigating the cause of this issue.
