4.1 Conﬁguring Analog

Analog is a complex program. Please refer to the Analog web page at

http://http://www.statslab.cam.ac.uk/˜sret1/analog/forin-

formation on how to set up and run Analog.

Basically, Analog parses your web server’s log ﬁles and creates output

based on that data. When conﬁguring Analog, you need to tell it where to

ﬁndyourserver’slogﬁlesandwhattodowith thereportsthatit produces.

To do this, edit the Analog conﬁguration ﬁle, /etc/analog.cfg.
