Figure 10 illustrates the effect of scaling out the number of Red Hat Storage Server nodes and clients on sequential writes
for distributed volumes. The test used record size of 1024KB. With 8 client threads, the sequential write throughput is
almost the same in spite of increasing the number of storage nodes. As we increase the total number of client threads from
8 (1 client) to 16 (2 clients) and then to 24 (3 clients), we see that the sequential write throughput increases significantly in
each storage node configuration (2, 3 and 4 nodes). The increase in the sequential write throughput is less pronounced as
we increase the total number of threads from 24 to 32 (4 clients).
